VBC Team Update

Hi VBC Nation,

It’s been another exciting week at SPORTIME VBC. Our teams continue to put in strong work in the gym, and it has been great to see that effort carry over into competition each weekend. We are proud of the energy and improvement we are seeing across the club. Please see below for this week’s important club updates.

VBC Boys:

Boys Middle School Regional Tryouts:

If you know any middle school boys that might be interested in joining one of our mid-season Boys Middle School Regional Teams, please help us spread the word. More information can be found here.

VBC Girls:

Results:

• 18 Gold and 18 Black competed in NEQ 1 in Philadelphia, PA. 18 Gold  finished 15th in the 18 Liberty division, while 18 Black went 4-3 in the 18 American division.
• 15 Black competed in Downstate 15 Club #1 going 5-0 coming in 1st place and winning the entire tournament.
• 14 Purple competed in SPORTIME 14 Club #4 as they continue to make progress with each tournament.
• 13 Purple and 13 Red competed in SPORTIME 13 Club #3 and both teams continued to gain valuable match experience as they build through the season.
• 17 Aqua competed in CALI 17 Club #2 losing in the first round of the Gold bracket and finishing 5th overall.

Power League Results:

GEVA Power League #3:

• 13 Gold went 0-3 in pool play and lost their crossover
• 14 Gold went 3-0 in pool play and won their crossover
• 15 Gold went 2-1 in pool play and lost their crossover

Upcoming this weekend:

We have 12 VBC girls teams competing this weekend:

• 17 Gold, 17 Black, 16 Gold, 16 Black will travel to NEQ #2 in Philadelphia, PA.
• 18 Gold and 18 Black are competing in GEVA Girls 18 Open #3.
• 14 Black, 14 White, 14 Silver, 14 Pink are playing in Sportime AMG 14s tournament relocated to Bethpage Multi-Sport.
• 17 Aqua is scheduled to compete in Sportime 17 Club #2.
• 16 Red will be in action in Sportime 16 Club #3.  

VBC Summer Program Update: We will be sharing a separate email in the next few days, outlining our summer program offerings, including a full indoor and outdoor menu to review, and links to program registration.

VBC IMPORTANT EVENT DATES:

SPORTIME VBC End Of Year Party

On May 9, we will be hosting our annual End of Season Party. Join us for food, games, player awards, and a live DJ, as we celebrate the year together. More details will be coming soon!

2026-2027 Club Tryout

Club tryouts for next season will begin the week of August 9. Please keep that week available, as exact dates and times for each age group will be announced soon.

We appreciate everything our families do to help make the season run smoothly, from getting athletes to practices and tournaments to supporting them every step of the way.
